It's kinda weird how the brain works. I was walking to my department and a girl caught my eye. She was wearing a t-shirt with the caption: “I'm a fucking black Barbie”.

She was but that's not the point of this. See, she was walking with her friend and they were all smiles while talking. It just randomly hit me that I don't just want that, I deserve that. 

I deserve to have someone blowing up my phone because they want to talk to me. I deserve someone smiling simply because they're talking with me. I deserve someone who's excited about my life. 

You can't force people into being what you want. I don't even know how. I haven't really wanted to either (except on very bad days) so I can't really be mad at the people I know don't do any of this.

I think the past couple of topics on the timeline is what brought this up. The girl who danced on the first date and the guy who was complaining about getting spammed pictures.

I'm not even talking about a relationship, just a friendship. I'm not sure I've ever had this. But I will. I'll make sure of it.
