Going about your daily activities either to work, school, business, or church and back can be filled with beautiful sights. Either under the heavy downpour or the scorching sun, we always come back to the comforting arms of our beds. When we decide to join the nightlife, we're always satisfied that there is home to go back to safely.

Sometimes, work is productive, because we know that a hot plate of food and a cozy blanket await us at the end of the day. On some days, there's no food, but there's always somewhere to rest.

In life, there are always opposites, people with no homes or no hot cup of tea to drink after the rain. These opposites are sad but become worse when children are the victims of such realities. It has now become a common occurrence to see children looking unkept and impoverished at all times of the day irrespective of the weather. These children have resorted to working menial jobs or beggars in the absence of these jobs. The streets with all its troubles have now become their homes and a roof over their head are like an ancient memory. They are seen as outcast by individuals and are cheated in their jobs or treated as devils who need a lashing. It's unfortunate that children get to grow up with a skewed view of how rough life is. Although they have beautiful dreams, to them dreams are just wishes because no one pays mind to them. 

 Alas! there's a flicker of Hope. Certain individuals have taken upon themselves to see these children as humans in need of love and care and not as devils. They are committed to make these children see that the world isn't cruel. They ensure that touching one child's life per time is worthwhile and gives the child the opportunity to fulfill his/her dreams. 

This community though is in need of more hands to reach more children. Love is about touching and caring for those we know and we don't know. What better way to show love to children who have been deprived of it but to join in making their dreams a reality.
