Dark, some stirring sound in the distance, the sharp white lines running at the edges of the screen let you know there's motion. Forward, upward.




A visual ad for Bama mayonnaise starts with its ingredients bursting out from their storage in animated fashion, searching for each other in a dance akin to the swirling waves. They combine as colors change and textures emerge in the blend, until the final mix falls into the glass container like a Japanese dragon to a river, endless into contained.


The label is slapped on to the glass container, and we follow it, closely, as it’s swayed between one hand and the next. We swish over the label over and over and get to read the titles, the ingredients, everything. And the bottle goes on the series of hands on a table that seems to never end.


Until it does. One final person once we’ve read all that we need to, they smile and open up the jar.
