LONELY THOUGHTS

Let me live with me my mouth shut.

I’ll save the words but play the pictures in my head.

I’d feel the words slip out then I’d bite my tongue.

I’d bleed till I can speak no more.

My tears would only know the warmth of my soft pillow.

I’d house all the emotions but I’ll never form the words.

I know you’re there but you’ll never hear the words.

So much piled up words loosing its worth.

I’d feel my head ache then I’d shut my eyes.

I’d feel the words eat me from under my skin.

I’d store it up while I search for answers I’d never find.

I know you’re there but you’ll never hear the words.

I’d fake it till it becomes so beautiful.

I’d never let you look into my eyes.

I’d never let you see my watercolor eyes.

When my heart is full I’d scribble meaningless words and toss it into my mouth.

Let me live with my mouth shut.

I’ll show you the beautiful facade of my lonely thoughts.
