To me watching movies often feels like listening to fabricated stories (lies), especially when it is not a real life story-movie. I can't even sit my 30 minutes down to watch any movie except there are real life events, like Talent shows, football matches, documentaries or Natural geography wide feature.
I don't go close to Nollywood movies because most of them are loafs. Though, one of the interesting Nigerian movies I was impelled to watch was 'The Lions heart'.
My Interest in watching movies started unexpectedly. Whenever I had to see documentaries about a book or research just to have a better understanding about the story. On day I was reading 'The last days of Hitler' while I was looking for the meaning of 'Führer' I came across the movie 'Downfall'.
While I was watching the movie it was so interesting because it was so related to the book, making me feel like I was present when everything happened. I ended up watching some other related movies and that was the beginning.
So one day I was randomly doing a research about lawyers that have never lost a cast in court. Some funny research right. While I was scrolling I dashed intro one related movie 'The Devil's Advocate'. It was so interesting though I was conscious about not watching any other movie after this one, but it wasn't easy because I will subconscious watched another one.
In my two hundred level (my first law degree), while I was so enthusiastic about litigations (mooting), most especially criminals litigations, I had to watch one seasonal movie named 'How to get away with moder'. It was so interesting and it really worth the time.
I think the best recommendation is to watch movies that are related to your niche, studies, or research. Initially I don't believe in movies but now I can recommend movies related to some aspects of life.
