Like an orphan fed grudgingly by a foster mother

We have felt the grip of pain

We shout, never again

Under the rain our tears refuse to hide their smile

For more than a hundred years

We have sat under a cloud of hate

Gathered by a storm of betrayal

We swim in an ocean of despair

Parried by the waves of hunger

We float on the waters of religion

Filled with corruption

We drown into the abyss of ethnicity

And slaughter eachother on the altar of god

We spill the blood of our brothers in defence of a God who is all powerful

When shall we have our fill?

We have become voiceless in a world full of an outspoken population
