Where's Home?

The end has drawn near.

Not bound by time and fear, the final barrier dissolves.

Resplendent gardens of peace where silver streams flow unfold before my gaze.

The rhythm and harmony of creation I hear.

Crescendo, a symphony of gratitude.

The path to eternity I begin to tread with grace, illumined as if by stardust.

Borne on eagle's wings,

that must be my karma I think.

My cloak transfigured by luminosity and radiance,

a weaving from finest ethereal substance.

Golden light and a whisper of love filters through.

Welcome.

Warmth! Just like the summer sun,

this much I never felt on Earth.

Nostalgia follows.

A sudden tenderness fills my chest.

This must be a home that was always mine!

Is that grandma I see?! Her presence radiating love and care.

This must be why she hurried back.

Her features softened by the light. Voice like silk,

she enjoins me to go into this sanctuary.

Each breath laced with thanks,

each step, a stride into eternity where golden streets glisten.

If tomorrow starts without me,

oh dear! Let your tears be soft like dew on rose petals.

Know that I'm embraced by eternal Light!

Home in joyful activity and boundless peace.

Home!
