somehow, a stranger or a friend suddenly becomes more to you, and you want to love this person so much as to drown in their precious presence and smile, to never let go until they own your name, the source of your life

but heaven knows that only you, imperfect to all, has found a perfect thing in its imperfect little world

born to find sea(s) and drown in them

we sometimes find streams too shallow to swim in

we abandon completely, or, still, dive in and hit upon the hard rocks

but sometimes we learn (or pretend) to enjoy walking in them

ask yourself hopeful swimmer

if the earth deepened and the heavens opened and your stream became a sea

would you jump in immediately

would you attach the heaviest stone to your waist and jump in

suck in the waters so your lungs burst, so your bones dissolve, and your substance learn the ocean's blue

are you truly satisfied just walking? don't you want to drown deep and die drifting in the waters of love returned?

do not be satisfied with hope instead of what you deserve

find your sea, swim and drown.
