"I am nothing but an Imperfect man made in the image of a perfect God

At the conception of life I was given dominion.

I was made a hero in my own story

But today I saw my hubris.

I am nothing but an Imperfect man made in the image of a perfect God.

Masqueraded around with the stature of confidence

Seemingly perfect on the smoke screen

But at glance behind the smoke screen, I'm nothing but an Imperfect man made in the image of a perfect God.

I'm nothing but an Imperfect man made in the image of a perfect God.

Man born of a woman is few of days and full of trouble

Now what are my troubles?

All my life I never understood what trauma was. Lived a life suffering from Anton syndrome. I've been told to heal but oblivious to my injury, not aware of the scar everyone sees

People saying you move like a ship at sea blindly navigating the rigours of the sea

Well, Let that sink.

Looking at my life, seeing how insecurities have made me sabotage myself.

Feeling incomplete

Lost in the labyrinth and complexities of ambition".

This relates to youths consulting sleepless nights about life.

Tired of hiding.

Tired of running from yourself.

Strangled but the ropes success

Sometimes it really does feel scary

I'm scared

Been a coward running from a fight.

A youth trying to find himself, pave a way for the people he loves but still is scared of love because he doesn't understand love.

Not proud of who he is but hopes to be proud of who he'll be.

Remember, "at the scent of water" even a hopeless tree can sprout back

Forgive yourself.

Apologies to those you hurt. Regrets to those you've lost and appreciation to those who stayed and respect to those who left.

We understand.

We make mistakes

Not perfect but called to perfection

If we couldn't be, we wouldn't be told

Called to seek first the kingdom

Called to come as we are

Called to lay our burdens and find rest

Called to hope

Newness of life

Total completion

Disregarding the philosophies and deceit Of the world.

With a broken spirit and a contrite heart I write this.

Come.

You're more than an Imperfect man made in the image of a perfect God.
