I watched as my husband approaced her with a smile on his face.

   "Hello, good afternoon" He said.

She looked up at him, smiled and offered him a seat beside her. I gritted my teeth in anger and jealousy. Doesn't he ever get tired? Well, this one would have to go too.

My husband and I were married for about three years. It's safe to say that we had the best marriage among all our friends. Wherever we went, we were known as the power couple. I loved my husband and he completely adored me. About two years ago, on our way back from one of our yearly vacations, we were involved in a plane crash. I lost my life but my husband sustained some serious injuries and was in a coma for a few months. Everyone thought he was going to die but he pulled through. He spent almost a year in the hospital before he was finally discharged. He was the only survivor. After the plane crashed, it caught fire and a lot of people were burnt alive including me. A lot of charred remains were found at the site of the crash and my body couldn't be identified because it was burnt beyond recognition.

My husband mourned me for a very long time. I was given a burial with nothing but my favorite book inside the casket since there wasn't a body to be buried. After almost a year, his family decided that it was time for him to move on. He was adamant at first but after a while, I could see that he was getting lonely and needed the company. He started making more female friends and going to more parties and social events. But No, I wasn't going to let that happen. He was mine and mine alone. We both swore not to leave each other even in death. My spirit hasn't been at rest since my death and I want my husband here with me.

I turned back towards them only to find her giggling with her hand on my husband's laps.

"Idiot!" I spat. Well, I'd probably have to teach this one a lesson too.

I moved towards the lady's car and since I was a ghost, I can pass through anything. I went into her car and waited.

After about fifteen minutes, they both stood up, exchanged contacts and parted ways. She entered her car, turned on the ignition and drove off. When she got to a narrow turn ahead with a wide ditch by the side of the road, I went into action. I breezed out of her car and since I was a ghost and I moved like breeze, I made sure to bring in as much dust as I could with me. I breezed back into her car through the driver's seat, making sure the dust entered her eyes. She was blinded for a few seconds and due to reflex, her hands immediately left the steering wheel and flew to her eyes. The car swerved out of control and fell into the nearby ditch. I followed the car into the ditch just to give myself the pleasure of watching her die. I saw a look of pure fear and terror in her eyes. The same kind of look they all had right before they died. She tried struggling but it was of no use. Some parts of her body was mangled with metal from the car, she was screaming in pain as most of her bones had been fractured.

I heard a satisfying crack as the last of her bones shattered and finally, she laid lifeless. Nine gone, and possibly a thousand more to go. I have a lot of work to do.
