We all know there was "a thing" involved in 0'27 biochemistry 1st incourse, and that that thing was less prominent in anatomy and almost absent in physiology.

See the power of the thing:

The average score in biochemistry was 73.7065 while that of physiology was 61. 5109. a difference of about 12.2.

The median score in biochemistry was 76 while that of physiology was 64. A difference of 12.

Compare:

The average score in anatomy was 64.5652, compared with physiology, it's a difference of about 3.

The median score in anatomy was 66, a difference of 2 compared to that of physiology.

You see how large the difference is when bch is involved? Shows there must have been a reason, it couldn't have happened by chance.

Whatever was involved must have been really useful, though it seems useful mostly for people with lower intelligence, retention capacity, or people who don't read much (if we assume that it is this set of people that occupy the lower 25th percentile)

The 25th percentile for Anatomy was 54.250 while that of biochemistry was 68.000, a difference of about 14.

The 75th percentile for Anatomy was 76, while that of biochemistry was 81. a difference of only 5.

It shows, as I've said, the thing improves the performance of less intelligent/hardworking people more than it does for the more intelligent/hardworking ones. The reason seems clear to me: intelligence and study is more fundamental than whatever the thing is.

For those preparing for 1st incourse, the question is: will whatever was involved in biochemistry 1st incourse for 0'27 still be relevant for this year's 1st incourse?
