Parental or Familial love is honestly so underrated because you don’t have to do any work for your parents to love you, they just birth you and boom they’d do anything and everything for you. 

The thing with other types of love now is that you actually have to earn it. 

People don’t just see you and say “I’d die for you” or “I’d go hungry so you wouldn’t lack”. In the long run it is possible for them to say these things mean it but there’s always something attached to it, something I’d like to term as ‘a because’. 

Like “I’d do anything for you because you just get me, you accept me as I am and I exist freely around you without the fear of judgment” or “I would do anything to make you laugh because the joy that I experience whenever you’re around is second to none”.
