Ria had mapped out her five years life planned carefully, start college, graduate with good grades, get a job and live happily ever after.

To Ria success was the most important thing in her life, Ria was never one to give up when she hasn't won yet.

So far she had a clear picture in her head she would do anything at all cost to achieve her goals. When Ria began college, she would attend every lectures, extra curricular activities and even get her assignments done before it's due for submission.

Everything was going well for her, she was having her perfect moment in college. She didn't let anything bother her, if it wasn't school stuff then it wasn't important that was the rule she went with.

During Ria's second year in college she met Damon, he was in his final year in college.

He was notoriously known for his escapades with women but Ria couldn't explain what attracted her to him.

They had stumbled on each other in the cafeteria when Ria was rushing to get her lunch. He apologized to her while sending her flirtatious smiles. At first Ria found it irritating and just apologized and walked away.

After School Damon waited for her outside class and pretended to just be standing there till Ria came out. They greeted each other and he tried starting a conversation with her which Ria wasn't interested in. He dropped her off at the bus station before going his own way.

Damon made it a routine to walk Ria to the bus station after lectures. They began talking very well and became very good friends. There were gossips in school that the both were dating but none of them tried to clear up the rumor.

Damon began developing serious feelings for Ria. One time he told her but she indirectly rejected him saying she wasn't ready yet. But that didn't stop Damon from loving or caring for her. Infact he was ready to support her in achieving her goals.

But Ria had a different plan for herself and Damon wasn't included. Damon graduated from college, his grades weren't that good so he struggled with getting a means of livelihood. At that Ria distanced herself from him, to her he was a looser.

Ria successfully got out of college with perfect grades, she got a very good job that paid her very well. She had bought a house for herself and a car. She was living the life she wanted but she felt all alone, she didn't have close friends just aquaintances.

She tried making a few good friends, went on so many blind dates but everyone she met just wanted her money. One night she had gotten drunk in a night club and was brought back home by a stranger.

The following day she went back to the club to make findings about the person that took her home so she could thank the person herself. She found out it was the owner of the club that took her home and wasn't available at the time she came. So she set up an appointment to meet with the owner of the club.

Ria arrived at a very luxurious restaurant, the owner of the club had called her the previous day and told her to meet with him there. She went in and the moment she stepped someone led her to a reserved table someone was waiting for her already and she assumed it to be the owner of the restaurant.

She took a sit and apologized for coming late, she didn't realize who it was untill he spoke and she looked up at him and shock was written all over her face. It was none other than Damon. He looked better than the last time she had seen him.

After hours of talking and catching up, Damon drove her back home and promised to check up on her frequently. At the end of that day, Ria finally understood that amidst life's complexities, everyone yearned for a connection, the comfort of a shared moment - a love that transcended the hustle and bustle. Ria realized that at the end of the day we all want love.
