"If I swear for him, it'll work!" Aramide wailed repeatedly. "He'll die before March. Ahh! My phone. 185k!" Women gathered around her, trying to stop her from undressing and swearing at Enerhen junction.

"Leave me o, Aunty!" she yelled to no one in particular. "Allow me swear for him. I used six months to save that money. Six months! Heii God!" Hot tears rolled down her cheeks. The phone wasn't even up to a week old, and now, it was gone.

"And mummy warned me o, that I should split the money into two. Heii! Why didn't I listen? Mummy o!" Aramide continued to talk for herself for hours, sitting on the road with a dazed expression while cars passed by with looks of pity.

When Aramide woke up by two am to swear for the guy, there was no one to stop her. She carried her charm outside and cursed the thief to die a horrible death.

Three days later, it worked. Her cousin lay dead in his compound, flies gathered around his crusted

faeces.
