And if I were a god,

I would make you a necklace out of the sun.

I would arrange the stars in your hair,

I would make you a goddess.

And if I were a king,

I would give you a thousand maids.

I would buy you gifts of gold and silver,

I would make you a queen.

Alas, I am a mere poet.

But here is a poem; I call it Aixa.

In it, I have made you a goddess and a queen.
