Can you hear it?
There it is again
It’s so loud it’s deafening
It’s silent you say
I ask if you still can’t hear the silence
As loud as a soul sigh
The quieting of a child
The boisterous tremors
Slow blinking to wipe away the tears
How can you say it’s silent
Nothing so loud as despair
Renders you desolate
Finds you even in remote places
Gnaws on you in way so hard to describe
You say you can not measure a soul
I say you are blind
Souls are measured by actions then words
Not the imaginary white garment you expect
The soul is silent
In the face of despair
