HOW I BECAME A VETERAN IN BOLI ROASTING IN JUST A DAY ๐Ÿ˜‚

Last weekend, my team mates and I executed a marketing project.

As a sophomore student of Communication and Language Arts, a marketing course was inevitable for me. Our lecturer decided that we were going to put in practice what we were being taught. She divided us into group to come up with a product that is a breakfast and brunch idea for students.

Truth be told, I was not in a class. But she told all absentees to form a group, so my group comprised truants-jokes on me.

Choosing a product was easy but choosing a unique one was tasking. With God's inspiration, I brought up the idea of boli- roasted plantain and peppered meat. I decided it was not going to be the regular boli- it was BOLI ALAKOWE. My team mates bought my idea and we were ready to go.

Roasted plantain was no easy product to sell considering the stress. We decided we were going to accrue sales before production. We ran a pre-order sales for three days and made a significant amount. We were good to go! We got so confident in our sales and forgot the important part! None of us knew how to roast the plantain. Kikiski!๐Ÿ˜ฒ

That was the most important part of the whole thing, delivering the products.

Twelve novices of boli decided to roast boli on a Saturday morning. One of my group members said she was going to bring a grill only to show up with a charcoal pot and a mesh. We had seen women do it. No one was opportune to seek counsel. We were completely ignorant on how to do it.

The first set of plantain we roasted turned out to be a disaster! Burnt and undone!

This overwhelming fear came upon us.

With a lot of deliberations, we concluded that the heat for roasting was too hot. We decided to reduce it by reducing the coal.

Then we roasted another batch, the next batch was better. That way, we roasted over a hundred pieces.

Twelve students who did not know how to roast plantain ended up becoming boli veterans that same day.

It was so tasking as I had the opportunity to serve as the sales manager and accountant ๐Ÿ˜Œ.

Group work can be so fun and enlightening. You get to rub minds with folks of different backgrounds. Though not all information gotten are useful, you sieve them.

A cooperative team can achieve any feat . I have realised that. I've been opportune to participate in group works this semester but I enjoyed this best!

In case I decide to continue Boli Alakowe,be ready to patronise
