And share Nigeria’s dream of a better place.

The air is filled with joyful cheers,

As crowds gather, united and free,

To celebrate the land we love,

And pray for the principles that will set us free.

We honour those who took a stand,

And fought for justice, far and near,

Whose sacrifice paved the way,

For liberty and the right to persevere.

From sea to shining sea we stand,
