One of the major causes of our country's under-development is Brain Drain. A situation where we lose our son's and daughter's technical and intellectual labour through the movement of such labour to a more favourable geographical, economic or professional environment i.e. abroad is the one of the reasons for Nigeria's under-development.

Our youths find it more favourable working abroad than here because of our nation's lack of economic growth, political instability, lack of job opportunities, lack of recognition of skilled labour e.t.c. Their service abroad further develops those countries and leaves Nigeria in ruins.

Ways this can be solved is by providing job opportunities for our youths to prove their capabilities. Organizing skill acquisition programmes for them so that more skilled hands will remain. And moreso academic, technical and industrial whizkids should be encouraged to invest in our country.

With these measures implemented in our country, Nigeria will become a fast developing nation and be the Giant of Africa we ought to be.
